Dear Parents and Caretakers:
It is with enormous reluctance that we are writing to inform you that the Peak Pediatrics clinic in Winter Park will be closing. We are very grateful to our Grand County providers, Kelly Chasin and Miesha Anderson for their years of outstanding service. Regretfully, changes in their personal lives have made it impossible for us to continue to staff the office on a regular basis. In addition, Dr. Barb is taking the first steps toward retirement by slowly decreasing work commitments. All of this means that after over 9 years in the area, we will no longer have our clinic in Winter Park.
Effective May 5th, the clinic will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. The clinic will ultimately close completely, with the last day scheduled for June 13th.
Our office in Wheat Ridge remains open and available to all of our patients. We are more than happy to schedule your appointments at that office. It has been our privilege to work with the many families in the area and we will miss seeing you in our Winter Park clinic. We hope that you will strongly consider maintaining your relationship with us in Wheat Ridge. For those families whose child/children are on a daily medication/treatment, we can continue to refill your prescriptions until the next medication re-evaluation appointment is due. After that we will only be able to refill medications for those patients who maintain a relationship with Peak Pediatrics.
If you want your records forwarded to another provider you may request a transfer of records form, or you can find the transfer form here.
You may still see us around town from time to time as we will still maintain a part time residence in Grand County. We wish you all good health and happiness and thank you for allowing us to care for your kids.
