Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. It is best that you check with your insurance to make sure we are in the network. Be sure to check using “Peak Pediatrics.”
Be sure to print and complete the “Patient Registration Forms“. This will save time when you arrive at our office.
We do not normally accept walk-in patients in our Wheat Ridge office. Our providers are scheduled as such that we always have sick appointments available on short notice. We do prefer you call ahead so that we can prepare for your arrival. We will, however see your child as a walk-in if it is a true emergency and you cannot call ahead.
***Remember if it is a life-threatening condition call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department ***
We know how valuable your time is, and as a result, we have made changes to our visit policies. We are making every effort to see each patient on time. Our clinic is the most efficient and best serves all of our families when patients arrive at their designated arrival time. Late arrivals cause delays for all of the families scheduled behind them.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations for wells visits, med checks, and first behavioral consult appointments require 24-hour notice to avoid potential charges. Therapy appointments require a full 48-hour notice to avoid possible charges. Cancellations for sick or acute visits require a 2-hour notice to avoid possible charges.
Late Arrivals:
Well-child visits, med checks, and first behavioral consults require the full amount of time. If you arrive to the reception desk 10 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time, you will be asked to reschedule your childs appointment to another time that will most likely be on a different day.
Well child visits, med checks, and first behavioral consults are booked out several weeks in advance, please be on time as it may take a few weeks to reschedule you into another appointment. If you arrive late to a sick visit, we will work your child in and see them as the schedule allows. However, it may not be with your originally scheduled provider and you may experience a delay in being seen. Late arrivals for therapy appointments are accommodated at the discretion of the behavioral health provider.
Families who are consistently late for appointments may be dismissed from our practice.
No Show Policy:
Not showing up for your appointment and/or not giving the appropriate cancellation notice, as outlined above, is considered a no show. Families who no-show three times in a calendar year may be dismissed from our practice.
While we are striving our hardest to be on time for your appointments, sometimes children arrive at our office severely sick or injured. These patients require immediate assistance and several resources to help them. Should there be a delay in your appointment as a result, we will provide you with information to keep you up to date.
We make every attempt to provide excellent healthcare for kids and to maintain respectful communication with families. As a business, we occasionally find it necessary to dismiss patients from our office. Patients may be dismissed for repeated missed or late appointments, failure to pay your portion of the bill, or abusive treatment of our staff, including verbal abuse and profanity.

If your child has had recent physical and is current on their shots, you can log into your MyChart account and request completed health forms that can be faxed, emailed or you can call the office with a request.
If it’s been some time since their last visit, you will need to contact us for an appointment.
